You deserve to do more than just survive the workday.
I see you. I know the pressure. There’s a better way.
Most of us spend a third of our lives at work. Too often, that time feels like a trade-off: our energy, health, and peace of mind in exchange for a paycheck. But I believe you shouldn’t have to choose between being successful in your career and being healthy in your life.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked in leadership roles where I’ve had a front-row seat to the modern workplace. I’ve seen the dedication, but I’ve also seen (and experienced) the burnout. I’ve seen talented people struggle to find balance in a system that rarely pauses.
That’s why I decided to pursue a career as an “Employee Wellness” Specialist. While part of that choice included becoming a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist (CCWS), I didn’t earn that certification to help corporations check a box. I earned it to understand the system so I could help people like you navigate it.
My goal is to bring humanity back into the workplace, ensuring that “wellness” isn’t just a corporate buzzword, but a tangible support system for your real life.
Wellness is hard. Doing it alone is harder.
The commercialized health & wellness industry sells us an image of perfection: the perfect diet, the perfect workout, the perfect routine. But real life is messy. Real life involves stress, family obligations, and unexpected curveballs.
My approach isn’t about rigid rules; it’s about building a life that fits you. Using “The 5 B’s” Framework, we focus on sustainable, compassionate growth:
- The Belief
- The Body
- The Brain
- The Benchmark
- The Balance
I believe in equitable health. That means recognizing that we don’t all start from the same place and we don’t all have the same resources. Your journey is yours, and I’m here to honor that.
Walking the Path with You
I’m not another influencer peddling the latest exercise craze or supplement that promises results overnight. I’m a husband, a father of four, and someone who is trying to get 1% better every day, just like you.
My understanding of wellness runs deep—far deeper than my certification. I’ve run health clubs, worked as a personal fitness trainer, served as the executive director for an equine therapy organization, and helped raise four children (one of whom has special needs). All of it has taught me that “wellness” isn’t a standard metric; it’s about having the energy and capacity to show up for the people and things you love.
Why Now?
After the pandemic, many people decided to retire early. Those who remained in the workforce found opportunities for higher salaries and accommodation like remote work. However, those opportunities are shifting as Artificial Intelligence (AI) impacts the world of work in ways we have never seen before.
Think of every major technological breakthrough in the 20th and 21st centuries: the automobile, the calculator, the computer, the internet, the smartphone. Now, combine their impact and multiply it by a thousand. That is the scale of the shift we are facing with AI.
It creates a profound undercurrent of anxiety—whether you are racing to adopt the technology to stay relevant or fearing you might be replaced by it.
This is why I’m focused on Employee Wellness. In an age of rapid automation, the humans doing the work need more advocacy and support than ever before.
Let’s Connect
When I’m not advocating for better workplace cultures, you’ll find me spending time with my family and friends, working out in my modest home gym, taking long walks, or sitting at my computer crafting the message for those who need to hear it most.
Let’s build a healthier future together.
